Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell will be presented in Frankfurt

Last year the Daimler engineers developed and presented a prototype of the hydrogen GLC F-Cell crossover. This time at the Frankfurt auto show the Germans will put on the stand a pre-series version. The technical characteristics of the new modification have not been disclosed yet. But the engineers shared the information about what they had worked on.

Mercedes AMG GT4 prototype will become a rival of BMW M4

As a base the German carmakers used Mercedes-AMG GT R generating 585 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque and getting 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. The new GT4 has the lower performance: Biturbovo Vermont 4.0 delivers 510 horses and 600 Nm and takes less than four seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h. The available top speed makes 250 km/h. The gears are switched via a six-step sequential transmission.

The assembler of G-Class has created a sports car Mila Plus hybrid

Austrian parts supplier Magna Steyr, the company is going to SUV Mercedes-Benz G-Class, presented its own concept car called Mila Plus hybrid. Coupe equipped with a hybrid power plant.
The structure of the powerplant includes three cylinder gasoline engine, the battery pack and two electric motors – the front and rear axle. Total capacity is not yet known. Manufacturer named a dynamic performance: a parallel hybrid mode when the internal combustion engine and electric motor work together, the car accelerates from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds. When the electric motors only operate on a set of “hundreds” takes 3.6 seconds.

Mercedes has produced the most extreme two-axle G-Class

The company Mercedes-Benz concept car unveiled G500 4×4, prepared for driving on a heavy off-road. The novelty is the “successor six-wheel off-road G 63 AMG 6×6, which removed one axle.”
From this model, a prototype, in particular inherited wheel drive system and portal axles, enabling him to 450 mm ground clearance (10 millimeters lower than that of triaxial “Mercedes”). The SUV was upgraded adaptive suspension with two modes: Comfort and Sport, switching between them hold 15 milliseconds.
