Tesla Will Develop Fully Electric Mercedes B-Class

However, for the purpose of being the first innovator in the field, Mercedes has to create certain connections and alliances. In such a way, American manufacturer of electric cars Tesla will help German concern Daimler in the development of electric vehicles. The corresponding agreement the companies have signed in the spring of this year. It is reported that the first project will be an electric B-Class.

The premiere of the German compact car completely on batteries is going to be held in 2014. By the way, initially it was assumed that the first-born model of this collaboration will be the A-class, however, in the end companies agree on the other model.
