Technical Properties of the Concept Mercedes SLS AMG

There has been a small introduction for our readers to the new concept at the Mercedes-Benz auto concern. The concept is called SLS AMG, because it was developed by the AMG division, for the birthday of their department. However, what was not told, was the technical side of that concept car. Therefore today we want to fill in this gap and present to our fans and readers the technical properties of the concept Mercedes SLS AMG.

This new concept has everything well done and developed in details. Doors, hood, trunk lid, front and rear fenders, splitter, diffuser and rear wing – SLS AMG racing department has made all of the listed above spare parts and many other out of the new material, which is called carbon fiber and also with the use of reinforced plastic. The center console and instrument panel are finished in matt carbon. These new materials allowed the SLS concept to be lighter and also gain additional rate of responsiveness on the slippery roads.

So now about the engine. This Supercar is equipped with a 6.3-liter V8 and six-speed sequential gearbox. This racing coupe accelerates to the first hundred only in 3.7 seconds. The maximum speed depends on the selected gear ratios and can reach 300 kilometers per hour.
