New Mercedes A-Class Will be Produced in Finland

We all know the worldwide famous German auto concern – Mercedes, however, not all models are produced in Germany. In such a way, in this article we are going to talk about the way companies place the production sites outside the place, where their headquarters are. German car company Daimler signed a contract with Valmet Automotive, according to which the latter undertakes to create and manufacture at least 100 000 models Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The assembly will be carried out from 2013 to 2016.

For the needed review, we want to say that Mercedes-Benz began selling the new A-Class in the past season, and from that time the Company had received more than 40,000 orders for the car of this model. As a result of such a great demand, companies in Rashtadte (Germany) and Kecskemet (Hungary) will have a full load. This information was reported by Wolfgang Bernhard, head of supply and production management in Mercedes-Benz. To ensure minimal delivery times, it was decided to start production in Finland.
