According to Mercedes-Benz engineer Gunter Fischer, in the current version of Multibeam are used 24 independent LEDs. The new E-Class will be equipped with 4 additional LEDs lights, so each lamp will consist of 28 LEDs arranged in three rows, and the total number of LED light sources makes 84 pieces. In Multibeam headlight four blocks control the direction of the light. The work is adjusted in accordance with the data coming from the navigation system and a special camera located behind the rear view mirror.
