Since January of this year the European Mercedes-Benz dealers opened reception of orders for new modification of C-Class. Following current trends, the Germans sedan is equipped with a hybrid power plant, which can be recharged from the mains. The approximate cost of this version starts from 60 000 euros.

Plug-in hybrid Mercedes-Benz C350e is equipped with two engines – a 2.0-liter gasoline turbine unit, which develops 208 hp and 80-horsepower electric motor.

Expected fuel consumption, while using both units, is 2.1 liters per 100 kilometers. In this case, a lithium-ion battery that can be charged from the power outlet in the garage or at the gas station with special charging station provides a 32-kilometer run on electric.

And the Bavarian car is also equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, supplemented by an electric motor.
