Mercedes-Benz Is Preparing a Replacement for Maybach

Mercedes-Benz plans to expand its lineup of S-Class to fill in the gap left by the double failure of the ultra-premium brand Maybach. Mercedes company is famous for its rational decisions, thus they really know what they are doing. According to the press, Dr. Uwe Ernstberger responsible for the project to create a new model S-Class, Mercedes will begin selling an updated series next year and will offer several new configuration options that should make up for the lack of Maybach.

The new S-Class will be powered with the nine-speed automatic transmission and an innovative control system of the roadway, which itself will adjust harness under the quality of road surface, as well as many other technical innovations that this car will include. The project manager has confirmed that the “Mercedes” and will be releasing the shot-based wheelbase version of S-Class, including the extra-long version of Pullman, as well as the convertible version.

The debut on the market of the new Mercedes S-Class will happen before 2014. Ernstberger also confirmed that a number of new technologies from the S-Class will also receive top models of SL, as well as hybrids of E300 and E400.
