Studio AMG, now the sports division of Mercedes-Benz, always engaged in the construction not only high performance sports cars, but also the creation of exclusive custom-made machines.

One such car was built by the billionaire Friedrich Karl Flick in 1974. Taking the legendary 300 SL Gullwing coupe 1957 release, tuners built completely unique sports car that still fascinates with its appearance and sound of the motor.

The construction of the machine took 12 months, during which significantly changed the body design and technical filling the car. Cars equipped with new bumpers and door mirrors, changed the shape of the wings, placing them in the other wheels, abandoned chrome decor elements in favor of black accents and did additional vents. Inside were set different dashboard, sporty three-spoke steering wheel and seats with high side support. To achieve more impressive dynamics engine swap was made, resulting in the engine compartment coupe set 280-strong 4.5-liter “eight” executive sedan from Mercedes 450 SE.
