Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 with 8-cylinder turbocharged engine is tested on the roads
German automaker Mercedes-Benz is already testing its updated charged crossover AMG GLC 63. The novelty came into the spotlight of photo spies while passing road tests. The car is almost devoid of camouflage, which means that its design is practically approved.
According to the published photographs, the design of the side part of the car, the rear part and the roof has already been approved, which can be seen in a small number of masking film. The novelty will also receive extensive exhaust pipes, large wheels, and wide arches. Also the car differs from the standard version of the GLC in aerodynamic body kit, which enables the vehicle to be controlled at high speed.
As for the power plant, then under the hood of the car there is 8-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an output 469 hp. More expensive S version is equipped with a 503-horsepower engine, and probably an updated model will have the same power. Engineers worked well on the brakes and so it will be more effective. Presentation of the car is expected in the framework of the Paris Motor Show, which will take place this autumn. The car will compete with charged and fast cars BMW and Audi in the same class.
