Charged sedans Mercedes-AMG E 63 4MATIC+ and E 63 S 4MATIC + officially presented (part 1)

German company Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced charged sedans Mercedes-AMG E 63 4MATIC+ and E 63 S 4MATIC+ of 2017 model year. High-performance cars built on the base of Mercedes-Benz E-Class model of the new-generation are called by the representatives of the brand, “the most powerful E-Class ever.” As other new charged models of the German auto giant, “hot” sedan will be available in two modifications – Mercedes-AMG E 63 4MATIC+ and Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC +.

Under the hood of both machines there are 4.0-liter V8 gasoline twin-turbo engines producing 563 hp and 750 Nm and 603 hp and 850 Nm, respectively. Powertrain works in tandem with upgraded 9-speed transmission AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT. Standard sedan E 63 4MATIC+ accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.4 seconds, and modification E 63 S 4MATIC + – in 3.3 seconds. The maximum speed of the novelties is electronically limited to 250 km / h (155 miles per hour) and 299 km / h (186 miles per hour).

The company noted that both motors of charged novelty are by default equipped with new system of four cylinders deactivation at light loads. Claimed fuel consumption is 8.9 liters per hundred kilometers.
