Charged Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe spotted tested in Sweden

German automaker Mercedes-Benz started winter tests of charged cross-coupe Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe of 2018 model year. Slightly camouflaged prototype of the car was seen on the roads of Sweden. It is expected that the world premiere of the novelty will take place in the second half of this year.

According to the spy photos, “charged” sporty SUV Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe will receive a modified radiator grille, made in the style of a coupe AMG GT R. In addition, the car will have new, more aggressive front and rear bumpers, massive wheels, powerful brakes, readjusted suspension and advanced sport exhaust system with four tailpipes.

According to preliminary information, charged cross-coupe Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe of 2018 model year will be equipped with the upgraded 4.0-liter 8-cylinder engine which will be able to generate from 469 (650 Nm) to 503 (700 Nm) horsepower. High-performance engine will run together with an automatic transmission and a brand all-wheel drive system 4Matic. To date, the most powerful version of the sport crossover is Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe.
