Carmaker Mercedes-Benz Will Use the Apple Siri in Cars

German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced the official plans of the company to use a virtual personal assistant Apple Siri in their cars of the A-class model. Our readers should recall that the software tool Siri debuted in smartphones Apple iPhone 4S. In fact, Mercedes is the company which uses most of the new technologies in their cars. The company has a special division, which is working on the integration process of the already debuted technical novelties, like in the case with the Apple Siri.

In addition, the company also has a special division, which is responsible for the development of their own new equipment for the Mercedes cars. However, this division mainly is focused not on the consumer cars, but on the specialty cars. But all in all, every good invention can be used on any type of the car in the end. In the German cars now there will appear a part of the electronic system called Drive Kit Plus, which allows drivers to use their iPhone, and some applications on it while driving – through voice commands.

The new solution Drive Kit Plus works with the application Digitial Drivestyle, through which the contents of the smartphone screen is displayed on the embedded vehicle computer while driving.
