Brabus is developing the fastest convertible based on Mercedes-AMG S63

German car tuning company is already working on a modification of the most powerful convertible Mercedes-AMG S63. The new model will gain the status of the fastest convertible in the world. According to published information, the new convertible will be powered by an incredibly powerful 6.0-liter V-shaped 8-cylinder bi-turbo engine, whose capacity is not less than 838 horsepower. The motor will work along with the 7-speed automatic transmission. Convertible will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3 seconds due to such a power and its top speed will be 350 kilometers per hour, and this rate will be limited by electronics.

Also tuning studio worked on the suspension of the car. Clearance of the tuned Mercedes-AMG S 63 was lowered by 15 mm. Front and rear bumpers were replaced (now they are carbon). Salon (thresholds, covers, pedals) received remarkable details with Brabus logo. Price of the model wasn’t announced. The price of a normal Mercedes-AMG S 63 starts at € 187.484 thousand.
