2015 The mighty Mercedes-AMG C-63 is revealed at the Paris Motor Show

The German Mercedes carmaker unveiled first technical details of 2014 Mercedes-AMG C-63 presented at the always amazing Paris Motor Show. The new C-class coupe is regarded as a rival to the BMW M3.

The company presented two differently powered models. The Standard AMG C-63 is powered by 469 horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, providing 479 lb-ft of torque. Plus, there is a more potent Mercedes-AMG C-63 S version with 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The models have best fuel economy for V8 powered cars. AMG estimates that the acceleration of the C-63 100 km/h is 4.0 sec, for S-version – 3.9 sec. Both variants’ top speed is 250 km/h.

Drive is sent to the rear wheels; the sedans are coming with AMG’s seven-speed paddle-shift gearbox. Other technical upgrades include an advanced exhaust system, adjustable dumpers, and steel brakes (ceramic brakes are optional). Interior of the car has a really stunning design. You can see there dashboard’s aluminum wings, sportive steering wheel, different menu options of the modern digital interface. The sales of Mercedes-AMG C-63 and Mercedes-AMG C-63 S will start next March.
