The last luxurious Mercedes S500 plug-in Hybrid showed impressive results. Instead of expected 3.0l / 100km, the car is consuming 2.8l / 100 km. The manufacturer says that it will allow to the model to become the first luxury sedan with the consumption level less then 3.0l per 100km. Besides that it is more economical, the electricity mileage is 33 km. And the acceleration 100 km/h is reduced from 5.5 sec to 5.2 sec.

The hybrid power system makes a drive extremely quiet, and the steering light.
