As we have learned recently, people are very much interested in the information about the new technologies, especially if they are connected to their favorite auto concern. It is not a secret that the German car manufacturers are trying to move forward the idea of a car that people have in their heads, and one of the greatest examples lately was the electric car for Mercedes, which is going to be made in alliance with Tesla, and we are now going to give some more information on that point.

According to the news portal of Mercedes, it was initially planned to develop a hybrid, in which the internal combustion engine will be used as a generator, as well as to increase the mileage of the car when the battery pack is fully discharged. But then it was decided to release a fully electric car – this project will be easier to handle. A similar system is already used in the model of Tesla Model S. But in the Mercedes motors it will be used for the front wheels, not the rear.

Given that the development and delivery will be dealt with Tesla, which currently has two electric vehicle markets and is preparing to release an electric crossover, it may be noted that the mileage on a single charge at the B-Class will be fairly decent. Daimler has already presented his vision of a compact electric vehicle at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year.
