Mercedes-Benz has released a competitor of BMW X6 Part I

Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced the new charged version of the crossover GLE Coupe, which will be able to compete with BMW X6 M of the new generation. The new SUV public premiere has taken place at the Detroit Auto Show.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe is equipped with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo eight V, which develops 557 hosre powers (700 Nm at 1750-5500 rpm) for the standard version and 585 horse powers (760 Nm at 1750-5250 rpm) on the modification “S”. Transmission – seven-step automatic gear box with the ability to shift paddle shifters.

Masthead option of the crossover is able to gain first “hundred” kilometers in 4.2 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 kilometers per hour. For comparison, BMW X6 M with 575-horsepower twin-turbo 4.4 liter engine accelerates from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in the same 4.2 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe received wheel-drive system called 4Matic, air suspension AirMatic, as well as Dynamic Select system with five modes of control electronics: Individual, Comfort, Sport, Sport + and Slippery.

In particular, the first mode allows you to customize the operation of the engine, steering and suspension, and the latter provides “optimum traction and maximum stability under adverse road conditions.”
