When at the beginning of 2012 Mercedes-Benz introduced its freshened E350 model with its M276 3.5-ltr V-6 engine, it’s very expected to remain on the position of being the lion of the very line, with 80% of North American Mercedes-Benz E-Class sales. The E-class will continue to be offered in three main styles – sedan, the coupe and the convertible. The E350 4Matic wagon will remain with new 2012 E-Class, though it will be joined by the rear-drive of E63 AMG Wagon with the newest M157 518-horsepower 5.5-ltr bi-turbo V-8 (550-hp with AMG High Performance Package) in addition to the supercharged engine of 556-hp Cadillac CTS-V Wagon.

There will of course also be a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedan with the new engine under the hood.
In addition all the Mercedes-Benz E550 V-8 exemplar will be sold in the U.S. as the 4Matics with the exclusive Sport Styling included. That means that no rear-wheel-drive at the E-Class E550s and no Luxury Styling pack for the V-8 will be there.
