Mercedes-AMG G63 in a new generation

The new Mercedes-AMG G 63 is officially presented and ready for the public debut on the stand of the Geneva Motor Show that will be held in March 2018. Visually, G 63 is minimally different from G 500. The novelty has got grille with vertical slats and an AMG inscription, front bumper with huge air intakes, extended wheel arches and exhaust pipe branches, brutally sticking out from under the rapids.

AMG G 63 saloon is similar to the interior of the youngest Mercedes-Benz G 500, but for the updated Gelendevagen there are offered the original AMG sports multifunction steering with Nappa leather, multi-circuit seats for a driver and front passenger as well as 12.3-inch displays, three-zone climate control, premium sound system Burmester. For finishing there was used genuine leather, Alcantara and Nappa, aluminum and carbon.

Under the SUV’s hood there is installed petrol 4.0-liter V8 biturbo generating 585 horses and 850 Nm of torque. The engine is additionally equipped with a cylinder deactivation system (AMG Cylinder Management) that provides 13.2 liters of fuel consumption. The available transmission is AMG Speedshift TCT 9G. The package of the novelty also includes AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive, as well as AMG Ride Control adaptive shock absorbers and optional Sport Plus driving mode.
