Brabus studio presented 850-horsepower crossover Mercedes-Benz GLS

Specialists from German tuning studio Brabus have prepared a complex modernization program for the flagship SUV Mercedes-Benz GLS. Luxury car of SUV segment received a number of technical and stylistic improvements, and its power plane is now capable of producing fantastic 850 horsepower and 1450 Newton meters of torque.

Upgraded SUV Mercedes-Benz GLS by Brabus, after all modifications is called Brabus 850 XL. In the engine compartment of the car tuners have installed seriously modified eight-cylinder twin-turbo engine, which volume has been increased from 5.5 liters to 6.0 liters. Power unit is able to generate 850-horsepower and its torque is 1450 Nm. As a reminder, we can say, that standard performance of this engine is 585 hp and 760 Nm.

According to official data, 850-hp SUV Mercedes-Benz GLS by Brabus is able to accelerate from zero to the first hundred in 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 300 km / h. As it was stated by the company, modernized SUV fuel consumption is 15.8 liters in the city, 10,3 liters on the highway and 12.3 liters in the combined cycle.
