The great demand for the cars is always a good thing, not only in the car industry, but in fact in any industry. Besides the construction of the new venture, the Mercedes company also wants to upgrade MBUSI plant in Alabama. It will invest more than two billion dollars for the organization of production of the C-Class and R-five-door cars and G-Class of the next generation.

The grand companies General Motors, Volkswagen and Toyota are struggling for dominance in the automotive industry. But it is a matter of the world scale, so to speak. But if we restrict the premium segment, we will find that here are fighting for leadership the Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi. And as long as the Germans are catching – in 2011, they sold 1,260,912 vehicles (excluding smart) against 1,380,384 in Munich (excluding the Mini and Rolls-Royce) and 1,302,650 in the records of Audi. But analysts of Mercedes predict that by 2020 the world will disperse up to 2.7 million vehicles with three-beam star.
