Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept in a Cabrio version

Gorden Wagener, the chief designer of Mercedes Company, has presented a cabriolet based on Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 coupe of the last model year. The novelty is a battery car equipped by four electric motors that bring a total output equal to 550 kW (747.8-hp). The all-wheel drive concept gets the 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds, develops 250 km/h and moves on one charge 500 km in the NEDC cycle, or more than 320 km according to the EPA standard.

The new convertible looks glamorous. The top made of fabric is decorated by rose golden thread; 24-inch light alloy wheels are specially created for this show car. The crystal-white finishing is made of leather with a blue backlight. The wooden floor is inlaid with aluminum. Two projection screens can be displayed on the windshield. Under the double-hood, there are installed organizers.

The interface is supplied by a concierge, which is considered as a friend to talk to without using voice commands. Biometric sensors constantly monitor the health of the driver and the passengers. The cab is designed for two. The total dimensions are 5700 mm in length, 2100 mm in width and 1340 mm in height.
