Mercedes-Benz X-Class pick-up version been presented (part 2)

Mercedes-Benz X-Class pick-up will be launched primarily into Latin America and Australia markets. The Company also plans to deliver the novelty into New Zealand and RSA, may be even into Turkey and Middle Eastern countries as well as it will be available to buy a car on European markets. As for the USA, the pick-up model will be sold much later.

Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ on the stand in Paris

At the Paris Auto Show there has been presented the concept car Generation EQ from Mercedes-Benz Company. The novelty is the first electric model in a new sub-brand’s line-up. The new SUV has got some avant-garde features. The carmakers installed the LED lamps into the headlights as well as they are used for grille and side sills’ illumination. The new design also excludes the door hands and mirrors availability changing the last ones by cameras. The cabin is supplied by four personal sports chairs and a steering wheel with sensor buttons. In addition, 24-inch screen on the panel looks great.

Hybrid minivan Mercedes-Benz is faster than hot-hatch

The company Mercedes-Benz has presented at the Geneva Motor Show a concept hybrid version of the minivan V-Class, which was called V-ision e. From zero to hundred kilometers per hour the prototype accelerates in 6.1 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than the Volkswagen Golf GTI with 220-horsepower engine and 0.6 seconds faster than the Renault Clio RS.

The assembler of G-Class has created a sports car Mila Plus hybrid

Austrian parts supplier Magna Steyr, the company is going to SUV Mercedes-Benz G-Class, presented its own concept car called Mila Plus hybrid. Coupe equipped with a hybrid power plant.
The structure of the powerplant includes three cylinder gasoline engine, the battery pack and two electric motors – the front and rear axle. Total capacity is not yet known. Manufacturer named a dynamic performance: a parallel hybrid mode when the internal combustion engine and electric motor work together, the car accelerates from zero to hundred kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds. When the electric motors only operate on a set of “hundreds” takes 3.6 seconds.

The Mercedes Company on exhibition of new technologies in Las Vegas unveiled an unusual concept – model of the future with the name F015 Luxury in Motion.

Mercedes-Benz F015 Luxury in Motion is equipped with a compact power plant and autopilot system, so designers have abandoned the traditional shaping of the body, giving the concept aerodynamically calibrated one-volume form. The machine is made from recycled plastic, aluminum and carbon fiber, which helped to save 40% by weight, and is equipped with a single system of LED-lamps.

The German company Mercedes-Benz has received permission from the authorities of California for road testing vehicles with autonomous control, according to the press service of the concern Daimler AG.

Commenting on the decision of the California authorities, head of development and research of Daimler Thomas Weber noted that traffic in the US is very different from the German and before displaying such modifications of cars on American roads they need to “teach” the rules and peculiarities of driving in the United States.
